Vets Golf

Port Kembla Veterans Golf Club is affiliated with the Illawarra Veteran Golfers Association (IVGA), the NSW Veteran Golfers Association (NSWVGA) and the Australian Veteran Golfers Union.

The objectives of our Veterans Golf Club are to promote the game of golf, provide a regular series of golf games for veteran golfers and to encourage participation in these games as a means of ongoing wellbeing for veteran golfers.

Membership is available to:
Male members of Port Kembla Golf Club aged 55 years or above who hold a golf category membership and a current Golf Australia (GA) Handicap.
Female members of Port Kembla Golf Club aged 50 years or above who hold a golf category membership and a current Golf Australia (GA) Handicap.

Application for Membership:
If you wish to join please obtain an Application for Membership from the Pro-shop, fill in all required information and place the completed application with the appropriate fee in the envelope provided and leave with the staff in the Golf Shop. You will be issued with a NSWVGA Handbook that is also your membership card. This book contains a Programme of Events, Group and Club Secretaries contact details and playing dates.

Veteran Competitions: Men's and Ladies competitions are conducted on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month. All veteran competitions are open to members and visitors who are affiliated members of a valid Veteran's Golfer's Association. Competition dates and format are published in the Port Kembla Golf Club's Fixture Book. Visitors can book a tee time by calling the Golf Shop on 4274 1159 (Option 2).

Membership of Port Kembla Vets enables you to play on Vets days at these clubs. Your Veterans Committeee welcomes new members and invites you to join and participate in the Veteran Golfers Competitions.
